Mark Tannen
Mark is the President and one of the founding members of Beacon Investment Solutions. Mark also heads up the Accounting and Tax practice. He holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Babson College, located in Wellesley, MA which is one of the top business schools in the U.S. for business and entrepreneurs. With over 28 years of financial, tax and accounting experience, Mark has worked with individuals, corporations and partnerships providing financial and tax consulting work. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the MA Society of CPA’s.

Prior to Starting Beacon Investment Solutions, Mark had his own company for over 20 years, focusing on tax and business consulting with clients located throughout the United States and abroad.

He earned his Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and is also insurance licensed in Life, health and variable annuities.

Mark has been married to Julie for over 29 years and have two children Sarah and Daniel who graduated from Florida State University. Sarah a RDN, LD works at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL and Daniel works for Realty Capital Securities in New York City. He is very proud of his wife and two children. He enjoys playing golf and keeping in shape at the local gym. He looks forward to a long and mutual working relationship with each and every client.

Marcos is President of the Palm Coast office of Beacon Investment Solutions and one of the founding members. Prior to financial consulting, Marcos worked as a New York City Detective. He is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York with a B.S. degree in Criminology and a minor in Law. After his retirement, Marcos followed his enthusiasm to a second career in financial services with the intent “to help clients enjoy a secure retirement in sunny Florida.” He earned his Series 7 and 63 and 65 securities licenses and is also insurance licensed in life, health and variable annuities.
Personally, Marcos enjoys golf, fishing, motorcycles and horses. He is the proud father of two lovely daughters, Alexa and Danielle and has been married to his wife Randi since 1991.

Stewart M. McGough is a partner at Scolaro, Fetter, Grizanti, McGough & King, P.C. and Chairman of its Employee Benefits Practice Group. His practice concentrates in the areas of employee benefits, employee plan fiduciary representation, and estate and tax planning for professional and closely held businesses. Stewart provides services in succession planning, acquisitions and dispositions, entity structuring and contract negotiation. He has provided expert witness services in several pension-related litigation matters. He has also served as special pension co-counsel in various matters, including the bankruptcy filing of Agway, Inc.

Stewart was admitted to both the State of New York Bar and the Florida Bar in 1980. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for Northern New York. He works closely with private and not-for-profit clients in such diverse businesses as professional practices; domestic and international manufacturers; insurance agencies; real estate development companies; wholesale and retail establishments; and banks and financial service companies.

Stewart has contributed articles to various business and professional journals and is also a frequent lecturer to local, regional and national professional and civic groups in the areas of pension and estate planning. On the national level, he has presented programs on ERISA and tax issues for pension and welfare plans at the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters, the International Forum, the Million Dollar Round Table and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
